World's largest jeweler bets on platinum despite falling silver prices, CEO tells CNBC

Pandora is continuing its shift from sterling-silver to platinum-plated jewelry despite silver's pullback. CEO Berta de Pablos-Barbier said the move diversifies materials and protects margins. Silver has fallen from over $120/oz in January to ~$65/oz. Pandora has hedged 90-100% of its 2027 silver needs at $65. The company posted Q2 profit of DKK 1.46 bn (20.3% margin) and lifted 2026 organic-growth guidance to 0-3%. Shares rose 4% in Copenhagen.
